LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WAVE) - Bellarmine shot 69% from the field in the first half and 66% in the game in a 90-40 win over NCAA Division III Transylvania (0-5).

It was the Knights first home win as a member of NCAA Division I.

“From a Division I standpoint, they will always be the first team ever to win a game in this unbelievable Freedom Hall and they responded with an incredible cheer and they deserved that,” Bellarmine head coach Scotty Davenport said.

Pedro Bradshaw led Bellarmine with 20 points. He was 8-9 from the field.

CJ Fleming added 15, hitting all five of his shots, including three three’s.

The Knights had 22 assists on 36 made field goals.

Bellarmine (2-3) host Mount St. Joseph (0-3) on Saturday at 5 p.m.
