LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WAVE) – Two Louisville couples kicked off the new year by welcoming a new babies!

Matios Sanchez Andres was welcomed into the world by his mother, Elidya, and father, Martin, at UofL Hospital’s Center for Women & Infants at 12:30 a.m. on Friday.

Matios weighed 8 pounds 15 ounces and was 20.5 inches long.

Daris weighed 6 pounds and 10.8 ounces.

Over at Baptist Health Louisville, Denisha and Roland welcomed their son Daris at 9:48 a.m.
