Late third quarter run propels #2 UofL over NKU 74-64

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WAVE) - Dana Evans scored 20 points and four other Cards reached double figures as #2 UofL held off Northern Kentucky 74-64.

The Norse (4-5) led by five in the third quarter, but the Cards responded with a 14-0 to close the quarter.

It was UofL’s first game since a 73-49 win at Duke on December 9.

The game was just added to the schedule on Thursday.

Former Card and Bullitt East High School grad Lindsey Duvall led NKU with 20 points.

UofL (6-0) is back in action on Saturday at 12 p.m. hosting Bellarmine (0-4).
