IU head coach Tom Allen's squad make late comeback only to lose to the Rebels.

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WAVE) -Trailing 20-6 in the fourth quarter, the Indiana Hoosiers rallied and tied Ole Miss at 20-all on Saturday in the Outback Bowl in Tampa.

IU running back Stevie Scott was a force for his squad. Scott scored on back-to-back touchdowns in that final quarter, taking direct snaps on both scores to pull his team even. Scott rushed for 99 yards on 19 carries.

Then, Ole Miss would march downfield on a drive capped off with quarterback Matt Corral tossing a three -yard TD pass to Dontano Drummond as the Rebels moved back in front 26-20.

On the Hoosiers’ final procession and facing fourth down, quarterback Jack Tuttle was pressured as he threw a pass , a pass that fluttered to the ground to end Indiana’s hopes.
