LA GRANGE, Ky. (WAVE) - Officials with the La Grange Police Department are searching for a suspect caught on camera who allegedly stole jewelry from a La Grange Walmart store on New Year’s Eve.

Police said the suspect walked into the Walmart store on December 31 around 12 p.m., where he proceeded to push a clerk on the ground, steal several pieces of jewelry from the jewelry case and flee the store on foot, according to a Facebook post from the police department.

The man is described and shown in a picture wearing a black hoodie, black mask, camo pants and gloves.

Anyone with any information on the incident or the suspect involved is asked to call La Grange police at (502) 225-0444, or report anonymously online using the police department’s “Report a Crime” tab.
