Hardin County Schools prepare to return to the classroom

ELIZABETHTOWN, Ky. (WAVE) – The Hardin County School district is preparing to resume in-person classes on a hybrid schedule.

In-person classes will resume on Jan. 11 using an A/B format. Group A will attend classes on Monday and Thursday, with Group B attending classes on Tuesday and Friday, according to school officials. The groups will rotate Wednesday classes.

As of Monday, school officials decided that for Wednesday classes Group B will be in class on Jan. 13. Group A will be in class on Jan. 20.

The HCS Online Learning Academy resumed on Jan. 4.
