LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WAVE) - Dana Evans scored a career-high 29 points as #2 UofL improved to 8-0 with a 96-61 win over Tennessee-Martin on Tuesday afternoon in the KFC Yum! Center.
Evans hit 6-of-7 from three.
“Well I think what got me started was trying to get my teammates involved,” Evans said. “I was trying to get everybody else open shots and then worry about myself later. I think that’s what helped me and got me off to a good start.”
The Cards have been dealing with scheduling cancellations and postponements for weeks and another change is on tap.
The ACC announced on Tuesday that UofL (8-0, 1-0 ACC) will visit Virginia Tech (6-2, 1-2) on Thursday night at 8 p.m. That game was originally scheduled for January 28.
The league also announced two rescheduled contests as Miami will play at Louisville on Jan. 26 at 4 p.m. and Florida State will play at Louisville on Feb. 23 at 2 p.m. Tickets and parking for the original games will be valid for the rescheduled contests.
