Clark County man arrested after fleeing traffic stop

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WAVE) - A man has been arrested after fleeing a traffic stop and leading Indiana State Police on a two-county chase.

Just before midnight Tuesday, a trooper stopped a car on I-65 North near the 55 mile marker in Jackson County. As the trooper walked up to the car, it sped off.

As the speeding car got off I-65 at the Columbus exit, it struck another car on State Road 46. The driver, Andrew Moore, 18, of Clarksville, Ind., was taken into custody after a brief foot chase.

Moore is being held in the Jackson County Jail on charges of resisting law enforcement in a vehicle and reckless driving.
