LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WAVE) – A man is accused of selling teenage girls for sexual purposes.

Christopher Bauda, 34, allegedly placed a 17-year-old girl in commercial sex ads that were linked to his phone, according to an arrest warrant. Investigators said that victim was sold for sex acts in Indiana, Georgia and Kentucky.

The arrest warrant also states Bauda sold a second victim who was under 18 years old to an undercover police officer for the intended purchase of illegal sexual acts for $100.

Bauda was taken into custody on Jan. 2 and charged with human trafficking, prohibited use of an electronic communication system to procure minor and unlawful transaction with a minor.

Burda was previously charged with human trafficking of a minor less than 18 years of age, promoting a sexual performance by a minor and prohibited use of electronic communication system to procure a minor for sexual purposes by the Attorney General’s Human Trafficking Investigation Unit in June of 2020.
