It is a small chance but hey, it’s a chance. A band of light rain will develop on the radar across Southern KY this evening. That band will lift north toward the Ohio River by midnight. As it does so, it will cool enough to mix with sleet then eventually over to snow. Most of the snow will be light or even just flurries. But the data still supports a pocket or two of brief moderate snow. In those areas, a slushy 1″ may accumulate. But that is going to be the exception rather than the rule.
Friday & Saturday looks cold with flurries at times.
Sunday stands the best chance at some sunshine at times.
Our next system moves in Monday from the south. “Southern Trackers” are notorious for shifting so we’ll need to watch this one carefully.
