Three new locations opening soon for COVID-19 saliva tests

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WAVE) - Three new ongoing drive-thru COVID-19 testing locations are will soon be open for saliva tests.
Beginning January 11, testing will be available at one location in Bullitt County and two locations in Oldham County. Nasal swab tests will also be administered at the sites, if preferred.
If you prefer a saliva test, you’re asked to refrain from eating or drinking within fifteen minutes of your test. Bring your government ID and insurance, Medicare or Medicaid card. Co-pays are not required. Federal dollars will cover the cost of testing for those without insurance.
Testing site locations:
Shepherdsville- Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Shepherdsville Park at the farmers’ market.
Oldham County- Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Southeast Christian Church in Crestwood and at the Oldham County Fairgrounds.
The new testing sites are operated by Pearl Medical.
