BARDSTOWN, Ky. (WAVE) - The investigation of a man’s suspected overdose death has led to the arrest of another man on charges related to the case.

Nelson County Sheriff’s Office deputies were called to a location on Nat Rogers Road Sunday after a 23-year-old man was found dead in a vehicle. It’s believed the man died from a heroin overdose.

The death investigation led deputies to a home on Nelsonville Road. After getting a search warrant, Wesley Stephen Heintz, 27, of Boston, was taken in for questioning.

Heintz was later arrested for manslaughter, trafficking in heroin and marijuana, along with possession of drug paraphernalia. He is being held in the Nelson County Jail on a $20,000 cash bond.
