KENTON COUNTY, Ky. (FOX19) - A Kenton County grand jury recently indicted a teenager on dozens of counts of child pornography after he uploaded illicit images to an online search engine, according to court documents.

Kenton County Prosecutor Rob Sanders described the chilling materials his office came across as “some of the most offensive child pornography” he’s seen in his career.

Emmanuel Curry, 19, faces 69 counts of possessing child porn.

Sanders says Curry uploaded multiple images to Bing in January and attempted to use a reverse image search to determine where the images came from — so he could find more.

“This is unbelievably desperate and dumb in terms of what you would do,” Sanders said.

Court documents say the images he uploaded show a child between the ages of 2 and 4.

Kenton County police searched Curry’s home, where the 19-year-old lives with his father, after receiving a tip.

“After the search warrant was executed, the son responded to the police department and told Detective Jones that it was him who uploaded those images,” Sanders said.

Curry is one of the youngest defendants to be prosecuted in Kenton County on child porn charges, according to the prosecutor’s office.

“They’re so rare that we have teenagers collecting child pornography,” Sanders said. “Usually our child pornography defendants are much older than this.”

Sanders explains his office has been seeking indictments for several accused child predators and pornographers lately because the courts just opened back up in the county.

“Last week, when we opened up the grand jury again, those were the first ones I wanted to get through the system as soon as possible,” he said.

Curry faces 20 years in prison if convicted.

He will be back in court April 13.
