Overnight shooting in Shawnee under investigation

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WAVE) - A man was shot early Friday morning in Shawnee.
The victim was found shot on South 40th Street around 12:30 a.m. by Louisville Metro Police Department officers, MetroSafe said.
The man was rushed to UofL Hospital for treatment by paramedics. His injuries are not considered life-threatening, and he is expected to survive.
There has been no word on possible suspects.
