Woman shot in Auburndale; LMPD Domestic Violence Unit investigating

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WAVE) - A woman was struck in a shooting near Southside Drive and New Cut Road on Monday morning around 9 a.m.
It happened in front of a Speedway gas station.
Officers found the woman suffering from gunshot wounds, and she was taken to UofL hospital with injuries that were not considered life-threatening, Louisville Metro Police Department spokesperson Dwight Mitchell said.
Her identity was not revealed.
The LMPD Domestic Violence Unit is in charge of the investigation and is following up on leads to find a suspect. No arrests have been made.
