Police searching for man who allegedly stabbed a woman in Nelson County
LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WAVE) - The Nelson County Sheriff’s Office is looking for a man who allegedly stabbed a woman, sending her to the hospital.
The sheriff’s office said deputies were called to an address on Camp Branch Road on Thursday, Oct. 19 after a caller said that she had been stabbed by a man named Daniel Mendez and had locked herself in a bedroom.
When they arrived, they found the woman in a back bedroom and took her to the hospital.
The sheriff’s office said they have issued a warrant for 33-year-old Daniel Mendez for attempted murder and attempted strangulation.
The Nelson County Sheriff’s Office Detective Bureau is handling the ongoing investigation.
