Man dead after being hit by train in Shepherdsville

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WAVE) - A man is dead after being hit by a train in Shepherdsville Wednesday afternoon, according to police.

Calls came in around 2:50 p.m., according to Shepherdsville Police Chief Steve Schmidt.

Highway 44 and Adam Shepherd Parkway were blocked as crews were investigating.
