LMPD investigating after teen girl shows up at hospital after being shot

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WAVE) - Louisville police are investigating after a teen girl was shot.
LMPD said around 8 p.m. Monday, Nov. 4, staff at Norton Children’s Hospital told police about a teenager who was brought to the hospital by private means after being shot. She was alert and conscious and is expected to survive her injuries.
Police have not yet located the original scene of the shooting.
LMPD’s Non-Fatal Shooting Unit is investigating. There are no suspects. Anyone with information is asked to call the anonymous tip line at 502-574-LMPD (5673) or use the LMPD Crime Tip Portal.
