Jobina Fortson joined the WAVE 3 News team in September 2016.
Jobina most recently was a reporter for WMDT in Salisbury, Maryland, where she covered several major stories, including the Baltimore riots following the death of Freddie Gray.
Jobina hails from Stone Mountain, Georgia, a suburban area just outside Atlanta. She loves all things Atlanta, traveling, and spending time with family and friends.
A graduate of Howard University, Jobina holds a Bachelor of Science degree in journalism with a minor in political science.
Jobina got her start in journalism writing for her high school newspaper. She has a true passion for storytelling. She’s always looking for new ideas.
