Mitch joined the 14 News Team in 2022 as a Multimedia Journalist. A native of Huntingburg, Indiana, he's excited to be back at home in the Tri-State doing what he loves!

After graduating from Southridge High School in Huntingburg, Mitch went on to graduate from Ball State University in December of 2021 with a dual degree in Journalism and Telecommunications and a minor in Creative Writing. While at Ball State, he played Fullback for the Cardinals on the football field, winning a Mid-American Conference Championship and the Arizona Bowl in 2020. He was a member of the Ball State Daily News as well as NewsLink Indiana as a reporter, director, producer, and anchor. In the summer of 2019, he interned with The Indiana Citizen in Indianapolis where he learned about political candidates all over the state of Indiana and assisted with getting Hoosier voters information about their specific districts.

When not working, Mitch still enjoys staying active and keeping up with Ball State Football as well as the Chicago Bears.

He's excited to be able to reconnect with the place he grew up, and Mitch looks forward to serving the Tri-State area in any way that he can.
