LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) - A Louisville man will spend 20-years behind bars after admitting to killing two University of Louisville students during a drug deal.
Isiah Fugett pleaded guilty to two counts of second degree manslaughter and one count of tampering with physical evidence. Eric Ray and Robert Whitney Robbins were shot dead in January 2004.
Fugett had been serving a 30-year prison term when the Kentucky Supreme Court overturned his conviction last year. His retrial was scheduled to begin this week.
