LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) - The University of Louisville Nursing School student who was expelled over what she wrote on her myspace.com blog will be allowed to return to the school.

Nina Yoder was kicked out of the school in February after school officials read some of her blog entries, which included her thoughts on some of the assignments she experienced, including one on childbirth. U of L argued Yoder's blog posts violated the nursing school's honor code and confidentiality agreement, but a judge ruled Monday they did not.

"A big mistake that could be made from this whole situation is someone thinking now I have the right to write whatever I want on a private blog and if my employer reads it, they are not allowed to fire me. Nothing could be further from the truth," said Dan Canon, Nina Yoder's attorney.

Mark Hebert, a U of L spokesman said, "Our lawyers and School of Nursing administrators will be reviewing the court's decision to determine what our next steps might be."

Under the ruling, Yoder is allowed to resume classes immediately.
