President's Prime-Time Address Modifies NBC Thursday Night Lineup

(LOUISVILLE, May 1st, 2003, 11:30 a.m.) -- President Bush will address the nation Thursday evening from deck of on an aircraft carrier to say that major combat in Iraq has ended, his spokesman said Wednesday.

NBC and WAVE 3 will cover the speech live, with the following schedule changes:

FRIENDS
Friends, originally scheduled to run two episodes back to back, will air from 8 to 8:40, then be left in progress to join network coverage of the President's speech. It will be rejoined at 9:30 and run until 9:34.

WILL & GRACE
Will now air from 9:34 - 10:12

Will now air from 10:12 - 11:12

Will now air from 11:12 to 11:47
