BLOOMINGTON, IN (WAVE) - It has been one week since 20-year-old Lauren Spierer, a sophomore at Indiana University, disappeared after a night out with friends. We'll have a live stream of today's news conference in Bloomington right here at 11:30 a.m.

On Thursday, police and volunteers widened their search to include areas outside Bloomington, and Lt. Bill Parker told reporters that videotape obtained by investigators did not indicate that Spierer was involved in an altercation at the Smallwood Plaza apartments in the early morning hours of June 3 before she disappeared.

That contradicted a statement Lauren's father, Robert Spierer, had made to reporters from a New York newspaper Wednesday night.

We'll have complete coverage of today's press conference, including a live stream and replay, right here and we'll bring you updates as soon as they become available.
