Amish buggy collides with car, sends 2 people to the hospital

PAOLI, IN (WAVE) - Two people were sent to area hospitals after a car collided with an Amish buggy in southern Indiana.

It happened around 9 o'clock Tuesday night on State Road 56 near Lynd Road just east of Paoli in Orange County.

The sheriff's office tells WAVE 3 that the driver of each vehicle went to a Paoli hospital.

The driver of the buggy, 25-year-old Simon Lambright was later taken to University Hospital where he is listed in serious condition. There is no word on the condition of the other driver.
