LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) - While some businesses are taking a hit because of the bridge closure, others are prospering.
Last week, one New Albany restaurant was seeing a 30% drop in business. At Dish On Market in Louisville, they say they are seeing a 30% increase in business.
Their owners tell us not only are people coming across the bridge early for breakfast, they are also hanging around after work.
"Our happy hour crowd obviously there is a lot of people coming in, eating dinner, having drinks before the rush hour is over," said Marshall Grissom, co-owner of Dish On Market. "And once it's over, they cash out with us, go across the bridge, and don't have a problem."
Marshall says despite the rise in business, they still want the bridge back open as soon as possible.
