Online database available for storm victims to find rentals

INDIANAPOLIS (AP) - Indiana is asking the owners of unoccupied housing located in storm-affected areas of the state and adjacent counties to register properties so they can be made available for rent to storm victims who need them.

The Indiana Housing and Community Development Authority is asking that the available properties be registered at

This website provides a centralized listing of apartments or houses that are available for rent to those who may have lost their homes to storm damage on Friday.

The agency says the database will help displaced storm victims find alternate living arrangements as southern Indiana recovers from the storms.
