ELIZABETHTOWN, KY (WAVE) - Kentucky State Police are asking for the public's help in locating 16-year-old Brandi E. Higdon from Clarkson, KY.

Police say Higdon is a white female, 5 feet 6 inches tall and weighs approximately 190 pounds.  She has brown hair and brown eyes and was last seen wearing a black UK shirt and denim capri pants. However, she has likely changed due to her taking clothes with her. She wears her hair below her shoulders and had stitches in her right knee from an accident she was in a few days ago. She may also have scratches on her face from that same wreck.

Police say Higdon is likely in the company of 18-year-old Tyler Hill. Hill is a white male, 5 feet 11 inches tall and weighs approximately 145 pounds.

They may be driving a silver 2004 Toyota Corolla with a Kentucky tag of 591AFX.

According to KSP, Higdon was dropped off at a restaurant in Clarkson, KY on Monday March 26, 2012 by a friend, after she told the friend that another person would be picking her up and taking her on to school. Neither Higdon nor Hill showed up for school and have been missing ever since.

Higdon left a note indicating her intent to runaway and be gone for a few years before returning.  The pair were possibly spotted in the Opry Mills Mall area of Nashville, Tennessee on April 4, 2012, but were not located after Tennessee authorities were notified.

Higdon's parents, Traci and Jonathan Higdon, are asking for your help in locating their daughter.  They miss her and just want her home safely.

The duo only has a few hundred dollars on them so it is just a matter of time before they run out of cash.
