LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) – A woman arrested by Louisville Metro Police in connection with an attempted home burglary told officers she committed 19 other burglaries and said her brother helped in some of them.

According to an arrest report, Tara Berger, 31, and Richard Enyard, 37, were originally charged with the attempted burglary of a home in the 11200 block of Fox Haven Road when Berger broke out a window to try and get inside.

When arrested, police say both Berger and Enyard waived their Miranda Rights and admitted to committing another burglary on April 30. Berger also told detectives about 18 additional burglaries she committed and agreed to point out the homes. Enyard told police he was the driver in five to seven of the burglaries.

In addition to the 20 counts of burglary, Berger is charged with criminal mischief and receiving stolen property. Enyard is charged with two counts of burglary, along with the criminal mischief and receiving stolen property charges.

Berger and Enyard were arraigned Friday morning and are being held on $10,000 full cash bond at Louisville Metro Corrections. Their next scheduled court dates were set for May 14.
