LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) - The Jefferson County Coroner confirmed Friday afternoon that a body found in a Valley Station creek is that of 13-year-old Dallin Clevenger. The boy's disappearance Thursday night led to a nearly seven-hour search.

An autopsy will be performed, but the coroner said the boy likely drowned.

Police were called to the Autumn Lake Mobile Home Park off Blevins Gap Road shortly after midnight on a report of a missing person. Officers searched the neighborhood and nearby Pond Creek. An LMPD spokesperson said a dive team found Clevenger's body in the creek around 8 a.m.

Clevenger lived in the mobile home park. Neighbors said the boy was with friends last night at a nearby playground and wooded area the creek runs through.
