LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) - The Kentucky Horse Racing Commission's suspension of jockey Robby Albarado has been put on hold.
Franklin County Circuit Judge Thomas Wingate granted a restraining order on Friday.
He says that Albarado's livelihood is being affected by the commission's decision to continue the suspension without conducting an administrative hearing.
Judge Wingate also says he wants to see records on how the commission treats other jockeys, trainers and owners charged with misdemeanors.
Albarado has to pay a $500 bond within the next five days.
