Fire damages buildings in downtown Bardstown

BARDSTOWN, KY (WAVE) - Firefighters battled a fire and the hot summer weather at Mammy's Restaurant in downtown Bardstown.
Nelson County dispatch said they received calls around 5:30 Thursday evening about the fire.
Crews found heavy smoke and fire in the restaurant and the Plantation furniture store next door when they arrived at the scene.
No injuries have been reported.
