Patient dies after ambulance flipped in crash

WARSAW, KY (WAVE) – A Kentucky ambulance patient died after the ambulance he was in crashed with an SUV.
Tuesday morning, police in Gallatin County said they had already received a reckless driving call concerning the SUV and the ambulance driver told police he saw the SUV weaving all over the road.
The ambulance driver said he tried to pull over and stop, but couldn't before the SUV hit him head-on causing the ambulance to flip.
It took firefighters 30 minutes to cut the SUV driver out of the wreckage. He is listed in serious condition.
The patient, John Little, 59, of Dry Ridge, Kentucky, died later from his injuries.
