LONDON, KY (WAVE) -  The woman accused of trading her baby for a truck in Laurel County said police have it all wrong.

Heather Kaminsky was apprehended in Florida, but is back in Kentucky after deputies said she had been on the run.

Investigators said she traded her newborn son to Jaimee and Jeremy Brown for a 1999 Dodge pickup.

The Browns were arrested and charged with human trafficking. Both entered not guilty pleas.

Kaminsky claims Jeremy Brown is the father of the baby and said she has paperwork to prove it, "That's all false. I've never been in jail for drugs. I've never been in jail for meth, and I've never fled a state for anything. They're a good family. They raise him right."

Jaimee and Jeremy Brown have not commented since they were arrested. They will be back in court in August.

Kaminsky will be in court Tuesday.
