LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) - Diana: A Celebration, the wonderful exhibit at the Frazier History Museum, is now open and will be in Louisville till January 13, 2013.
The 7,500 sq. ft. exhibition explores the life and humanitarian work of Diana, Princess of Wales. Diana's life is explored through nine galleries containing 150 objects. The galleries include from 28 designer dresses to family heirlooms, jewels, personal childhood mementoes, rare home movies and photos and of course the royal wedding dress.
The exhibition comes directly from the Althorp Estate in England, the Spencer Family's home, where it is on display every summer. A portion of the proceeds generated to the Althorp Estate from the exhibition will benefit charitable causes including the Diana, Princess of Wales Memorial Fund.
