HARRISON COUNTY, IN (WAVE) - A former youth sports photographer and substitute teacher appeared in court for a sentencing hearing.

Stephen Brockman appeared in a Harrison County courtroom on Monday where he took a plea deal related to child porn charges.

Originally charged with nine counts, Brockman pleaded guilty to two counts.

Police said they saw files on his computer when he fell asleep at a Corydon McDonalds.

Brockman was sentenced to a year in prison and three years probation, but he could be out of prison in six months.

As part of his sentencing there were stipulations on how and when Brockman may use a computer in the future.

Prosecutors said they are happy with the outcome because they were able to get the maximum penalty without the cost of a trial.
