Missing teenager's car discovered in Floyd County

FLOYD COUNTY, IN (WAVE) – The vehicle of a missing teenager has been discovered.
According to Ethan Bennett's father, Tony Bennett, the 2001 silver Jaguar Ethan Bennett disappeared in was found over an embankment in a dried out ravine.

His father said there is a body inside of the vehicle and they have no reason to suspect it is anyone other than Ethan.
Floyd County Coroner Dr. Leslie Knable says the car was found more than 750 feet down. Knable says Ethan's father hired a private helicopter to search the area.
Ethan was last seen on September 11 in Sellersburg, Indiana.
During an emotional phone call Friday night, Tony Bennett told WAVE 3 on behalf of his family he would like to thank everyone for their support over the past few months.
Floyd County officials are expected to release more information in the case on Saturday.
