Graeter's closing for renovations

LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) - Graeter's closed its ice cream shop in the Douglass Loop area on Bardstown Road for renovations.
The remodeling plans include a nostalgic theme with a new layout to celebrate both the history of the neighborhood and the 143-year-old history of Graeter's.
There will also be an area for visual artists to display their work and a staging area for local musicians.
A grand reopening is set for February 2013.
