Teacher formally charged after arrest at school

CLARK COUNTY, IN (WAVE) - A middle school teacher who was arrested at the school where he taught has been charged.

Clark County Prosecutor Jeremy Mull said Kevin Hennegan, 56, was formally charged with possession of marijuana, possession of paraphernalia and maintaining a common nuisance on Thursday.

He was arrested at Charlestown Middle School last Friday where he has taught social studies since 1990.

Hennegan was released on bond.

School officials are not commenting in this case.
