SHEPHERDSVILLE, KY (WAVE) – An investigation into drug activity in Shepherdsville has led to the arrest of five people.
Shepherdsville Police started their investigation on Saturday after receiving a report of drug activity in the 200 block of Boardwalk Avenue. During the investigation, officers discovered methamphetamine as well as the chemicals used to manufacture meth.
Two children were present in the apartment and were transported to Kosair Children's Hospital by Bullitt County EMS for chemical exposure.
Officers arrested Linda Crigler, 39, Nicholas Johnston, 18, Loreann Druin, 33, Amber Fisher, 29 and Wilson Porter, 38, all from Shepherdsville.
Each of them is facing charges of manufacturing meth, possession of controlled substance, tampering with physical evidence, possession of drug paraphernalia, and controlled substance endangerment to a child.
