LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) – Claims that a woman was forced to sell her body for money have landed a couple in trouble with the law.

Louisville Metro Police say John and Rebecca Hull are human trafficking and promoting prostitution. Investigators say the couple ran several online escort services.

According to an arrest report, one of the women told police any money she made went to the Hulls. Police said the woman was scared she would lose custody of her child if she told them about the operation.

"She told us there were other girls working for them at the time, but they wasn't treated the way she was," said Sgt. Andre Bottoms. "They was, didn't stay at the home, they would come and go, they would get their portion of the money and that would be it."

John Hull was arrested and booked into Louisville Metro Corrections. Rebecca Hull was cited to appear in court.

LMPD said the Hulls ran the escort service out of their home on Bradbe Road near the Shelby County line.
