LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) – As the final weekend of Homearama 2013 gets underway, event organizers encourage people to check out several remaining homes available for purchase.
Put on by the Home Builders Association of Louisville, Homearama 2013 features 18 houses, eight built at Locust Creek and ten constructed at Rock Springs.
Of the homes, four remain available for purchase at Locust Creek as of Friday morning. Five homes are still available at the Rock Springs location.
During the final weekend of Homearama 2013, guests with a ticket can tour the new constructions, speak directly to interior designers and builders, and even purchase homes.
Guests who register for the "Win A Homearama Design Makeover" become eligible for a $2,500 stipend and two-hour consultation with an interior designer for a future remodel of the winner's own home. Registration ends Sunday, July 28 at 5:59 p.m. A winner will be chosen at random.
Some furniture and accessories displayed in the Homearama 2013 homes will be available for purchase following the conclusion of the event. The furniture sale will take place Monday, July 29 from 1 p.m. to 7 p.m.
Ticket prices are $10 to visit a single site and $15 to visit both sites. Children 12 and under are free with a paid adult. Tickets can be purchased at participating Kroger locations using your Kroger Plus Card; save $2 on a single site ticket.
Homearama 2013 runs Friday from 5 p.m. to 9:30 p.m., Saturday from 10 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. and Sunday 1 p.m. to 6 p.m.
