LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) – Authorities have released the name of the man arrested after he was found inside the headquarters of the Archdiocese of Louisville.
Bryan Brummett, 30, is charged in the attempted burglary.
Just before 5 p.m. August 11, Louisville Metro Police responded to an alarm at the Archdiocese administrative offices on College Street in downtown Louisville. A broken window was found on the first floor.
A police dog was sent in and found Brummett upstairs under a desk. After the encounter with the K-9, Brummett was treated and released from UofL Hospital.
In addition to the broken window, desk drawers had been ransacked throughout several offices. No electronics or religious items were stolen or damaged.
