An aerial from Air 3 shows the damage to a Krispy Kreme store Monday, Sept. 30, after it was hit by a vehicle.

LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) - A truck crashed into the front of a Krispy Kreme doughnut store Monday morning on Taylorsville Road.

It happened around 9:15 a.m. in the 9500 block of Taylorsville.

Nobody was seriously hurt, according to Metrosafe dispatch. However, an aerial view from Air 3 showed considerable damage to the glass front of the building.

It appeared that a red Ford truck backed into the building.

The driver was trying to park, and police believe her foot slipped and hit the accelerator. There were four employees and two customers in the store at the time of the crash.

One employee suffered a minor cut but was not taken to the hospital. The structure of the building was not compromised, according to police.

A staff member who answered the phone at the store said it would be closed Monday.
