CLARKSVILLE, IN (WAVE) - Police made seven arrests Thursday night after confirming drug activity in Clarksville.
According to Chief Palmer, six adults were arrested and one 17-year-old. Police found heroin, marijuana, drug paraphernalia and weapons inside the home as well as a 3-year-old and 6-year-old.
Some of the weapons were apparently in the children's bedrooms including several shotguns and rifles, all within reach by the children. No names have been released, but the children are in the custody of their grandparents.
The general charges include possession of heroin, possession of marijuana, possession of paraphernalia and neglect of a dependent.
