Vacant Indiana car dealership catches fire

MITCHELL, IN (WAVE) – Several firefighters are working to put out a blaze that broke out at a vacant car dealership, according to Lawrence County dispatchers.
Dispatchers said the fire started around 8:20 p.m. Tuesday at the old Mitchell Motor Sales located at 120 Teke Burton Drive, near State Road 37.
Around 40 firefighters from the Mitchell Fire Department and surrounding agencies are working to put out the flames.
No injuries have been reported, but dispatchers said the building is a total loss.
The cause of the fire is unknown at this time.
