Young New Albany fire victim continues recovery

INDIANAPOLIS, IN (WAVE) - The young girl who survived a deadly New Albany house fire that killed her three younger siblings continues to make amazing progress in her recovery.

In video from her family, Taty'ana Hughes, 5, is seen walking around her hospital room with the help of a nurse.

Since the fire on the morning of January 4, Tatyana has been recovering at Riley Children's Hospital in Indianapolis and could be released from the hospital as early as next week.

The fire has been ruled an arson. Cody Cashion, 18, is behind bars charged with three counts of felony murder.
