LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) – Three students of Doss High school are facing charges after they assaulted a security guard who was trying to break up a fight.

An arrest warrant says on April 18, Irvin Crawford, 19, was involved in a physical altercation with another student in a stairwell. When the security guard arrived and tried to intervene, the warrant says Crawford struck him on the head several times with a closed fist. The guard was assaulted by the two juveniles after he had been knocked to the ground.

Crawford was arrested at the school on April 29 for assault of a school employee. The juveniles involved were not identified because of their ages.

The security guard was treated at a hospital. He suffered a slight concussion and injuries to his arm after it was stomped on.
