LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) – The coroner has released the identities of two people involved in a gas station murder-suicide.

Christine Joslin, 43, died at the scene after being shot by her estranged husband, Scott Joslin, 41. According to witnesses, a Scott Joslin approached his wife from behind, they exchanged words and then he pulled out a gun and shot her before turning the weapon on himself.

Scott Joslin died from his injuries Sunday afternoon at University Hospital.

The Jefferson County Coroner's Office said Christine Joslin, 43, died at the scene of Saturday night's shootings outside the Thornton's at 4136 Cane Run Road. Scott Joslin, 41, Christine's estranged husband, who police said was the gunman, died just after noon on Sunday at University of Louisville Hospital.

According to witnesses, Scott Joslin approached his wife from behind, they exchanged words and then he pulled out a gun and shot her before turning the weapon on himself.
