Louisville chefs compete in Iron Chef-style competition

Anthony Lamas from Seviche on Bardstown Road and Bobby Benjamin from LaCoop on East Market Street took their skills in the kitchen to the Farmers' Market launch celebration at Rainbow Blossom in St. Matthews.

Each of the chefs prepared a meal using fresh, local ingredients. The winning meal was chosen based on taste, originality, healthfulness and the "Can I make this at home?" challenge.

The chefs made their meals with $50 worth of ingredients they spent 30 minutes shopping for at the Farmers' Market.

Anthony Lamas from Seviche won the competition.

The Farmers' Market at Rainbow Blossom is open every Sunday from 12 to 4 p.m. through October.
